Site work, paving and renovation of a civil project in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; for site work for a water / sewer project; and for paving for a water / sewer project.

Beaver Falls Municipal Authority (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: West Mayfield Booster Pump Station Improvements Project. The Project generally includes the following Work: Contract 2020-01: General/Mechanical - Divisions 01, 02, 03, 06, 07, 09, 11, 23, 31, 32, and 33 o Site drainage improvements, fence modifications and grading o Coordinate rebuild of all three (3) pumps / motors and complete re-installation. o Complete reinstallation of all three (3) pumps / motors. o Full roof and gutter system replacement o Provide new HVAC systems o Painting of process piping and valves o Replacement of select piping and valves o Relocation of chemical feed system to basement' o Site restoration and paving of front lot Contract 2020-02: Electrical - Divisions 01 and 26 o Provide three (3) new variable frequency drives (VFDs) o Full replacement of all electrical and control panels and their contents o Provide various process instrumentation o Provide diesel generator and concrete pad o Coordinate SCADA upgrades with BFMA Integrator o Overhead electrical service replacement. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 10 percent of Bidder's maximum Bid price (determined by adding the base bid and all alternates) and in the form of a Bid bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraph 6.01 of the General Conditions. CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 5/21/2020 2:00 PM Attention is called to the fact that prevailing minimum wage rates as determined by the Secretary of the Department of Labor and Industry must be paid by the Contractors on this project and that employees and applicants for employment shall not be discriminated against because of their race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, or handicap. Each Bidder is required to meet the requirements of Public Works Employment Verification Act, Act 127 of 2012. When Contractor delivers the signed counterparts of the Agreement to Owner, Contractor shall also deliver to Owner the performance bond and payment bond (if the Contract requires Contractor to furnish such bonds). The Work will be substantially complete within one hundred twenty (120) days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run as provided in Paragraph 4.01 of the General Conditions, and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions within one hundred fifty (150) days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run. The Owner hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to refuse and reject any or all bids submitted, and also reserves the right to waive any informality in bids received.
