Site work for a road / highway in Chase, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Improve geometrics and construct a four-lane cross-section, including concrete median barrier, for approximately 3.3 km to achieve a 100 km/h design speed. Frontage road improvements will consolidate highway access to two improved intersections at Chase Creek Road and Shuswap Avenue which will be at-grade protected-tee intersections. A grade-separated pedestrian crossing will improve active transportation connectivity between the Village of Chase and Neskonlith I.R. No. 2. The Site is located on Trans Canada Highway, extending from the western entrance to the Village of Chase to the eastern limit of Neskonlith Indian Reserve No. 2 for approximately 3.6 km.
