No verbal answers by any County personnel or its agents and consultants will be binding on the County. Scope of Work: The work under this Contract consists of furnishing all labor, tools, equipment, materials, incidentals, superintendents, subcontractor coordination and overhead to perform industrial electrical repairs, replacements, minor modifications, testing of electrical equipment, instrumentation, controls installation, and safety improvements primarily in the Wastewater Treatment Division, East and West Sections. Associated subcontractors (e.g., civil, mechanical) may be required. Any such related civil, mechanical, site work, and/or hazardous material handling will only be performed as an incidental or ancillary aspect of the electrical work, and only as necessary to accomplish the electrical work.Work site: Various King County facilities located throughout Washington, primarily for the Wastewater Treatment Division. The work performed under this Contract shall not exceed $1,000,000 and the initial Contract Time shall not exceed 365 calendar days from the date of Contract Execution by the County. The County does not guarantee any minimum amount of work or that the dollar amount of the Work Orders issued will total $1,000,000 during the duration of this Contract. At the County's sole discretion, this Contract may be extended for one additional year or until the Not to Exceed Contract Price is reached, whichever occurs first. Pre-Bid Conference: A pre-bid conference is not scheduled. Subcontracting Opportunities: Instrumentation and Controls, Cast-in-Place Concrete, Paving, Demolition, Cutting and Patching, Trenching, Backfilling, and Compacting.SCS Utilization Requirements. The Contractor shall ensure that at least 5% of the total price for all executed Work Orders shall be performed by King County Certified SCS Firms over the life of the Contract. Bid Guaranty: Not less than five percent (5%) of the Total Bid Price.
