Site work for a water / sewer project in Creston, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The scope of work consists of providing labor and materials necessary for the installation of approximately 710 lineal feet of 10" PVC waterline, replacement of existing water service laterals, main line valves, fire hydrants, approximately 600 lineal feet of 12" to 15" storm sewer, approximately 900 square yards pavement planing and asphalt resurfacing, approximately 335 lineal feet Type 6 concrete curb, 1,800 square yards motorpaving, and other associated appurtenances All bids must be signed and submitted on the blanks which are bound in this booklet. Bids must state the unit prices in the blanks provided and be enclosed in a sealed envelope marked --- BANK & BROOKLYN STREET DRAINAGE & WATERLINE IMPROVEMENTS --- and be addressed to the Village of Creston, 100 North Main Street, Creston, Ohio 44217. The bid guaranty may be of two forms: 1. A Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond using the form in the Contract Documents. (The amount of the bid does NOT have to appear on this form.) 2. A certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit in favor of the Village of Creston, Ohio, in the amount of 10% of the bid. If the contract is awarded, a Contract Bond will be required, which is a 100% payment and performance bond. After the award of the contract let by competitive bid and prior to the time the contract is entered into, bidders shall submit the affidavit required under the Ohio Revised Code, Section 5719.042 that the bidder was not charged with any delinquent personal property taxes in Wayne County, Ohio. The successful bidder will be required to pay not less than the minimum wage rates established by the Department of Industrial Relations of the State of Ohio. The Village of Creston, Ohio reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularity in any bid and to determine the lowest and best bidder. DOMESTIC STEEL AND MADE IN USA PRODUCTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO BE PROVIDED/USED FOR ALL MATERIAL ASPECTS/COMPONENTS OF THIS PROJECT. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of 60 days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids. This project is being partially funded with Ohio Public Works Commission (OPWC) funds.
