The work generally consists of re-keying existing entrance and corridor doors. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to the replacement of cylinder cores and the possible replacement of locksets. Included in the deliverables are card key access readers at the staff entrances of several buildings. The estimated construction cost is between $1 million and $1.5 million. Due to the COVID-19 situation/incident, a pre-bid meeting in accordance with Hawaii Revised Statutes 103D-303.5 has been waived and will not be held. The estimated value of the public works contract is $250,000 or more and the apprenticeship agreement preference pursuant to Hawaii Revised Statutes 103-55.6 (ACT 17, SLH 2009) shall apply
