Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Norwood, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.
DCAM certification for electrical & elevator sub-trades The estimated cost of the project is $400,000. 1. Remove existing elevator controller and provide new elevator controller. 2. Remove existing hydraulic power unit and reservoir and provide new submersible hydraulic power unit and reservoir with silencing kit, cooling unit and code required safety provisions. 3. Remove and replace existing shut off valves in machine room. 4. Remove and replace hydraulic piping between power unit and hydraulic cylinder. Provide sound isolation couplings. 5. Remove and replace rupture and pit valves. 6. Remove existing guide shoes/rollers and provide new guide shoes/rollers for car. 7. Existing guide rails to be retained. Inspect and refasten as required. 8. Remove and replace top of car inspection station. 9. Provide new landing systems. 10. Remove and replace existing car, machine room and hoistway wiring. 11. Remove existing travel cables and provide new travel cables with cabling for future CCTV camera. 12. Remove existing hoistway door safety latches and provide new hoistway door safety latches. Typical of each elevator landing. 13. Remove existing door operators, and provide new door operators. 14. Remove existing elevator and hoistway door system. This would include but not limited to door clutches, tracks, hangers, closeres, roller guides, rollers, and interlocks. Provide complete elevator and hoistway door system. Typical. 15. Remove existing hoistway door dust covers and provide dust covers. 16. Scrape, sand, prime and paint existing elevator lobby hoistway doors and frames. Typical of each elevator landing. Color by Owner on a per floor basis. 17. Provide door escutcheon to allow access to hoistway via drop key. 18. Provide new floor ADA Braille designation plates. Typical. 19. Elevator cab sling/platform to be retained. 20. Remove and replace existing car operating panel, position indicators, phone, car lanterns and emergency light. Phone to be ADA compliant hands free operation. 21. Remove and replace cab interior. (Deduct Alternate #1) 22. Remove and replace existing cab doors with #4 stainless steel cab doors. 23. Provide elevator machine room modifications to meet current code requirements. 24. Provide elevator pit modifications to meet current code requirements.
