Site work for a water / sewer project in Becket, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Lancelot Lake Dam Improvements - Clearing & grubbing, erosion controls, concrete spillway structure, low-level outlet siphon and channel construction, water controls, wetlands mitigation plantings and surface restoration. Instructions will be included in the Bidding Documents. The work consists of clearing and grubbing trees on the dam embankment and within 20 feet of the dam embankment, installing a walking path along the dam crest, replacing the spillway structure and discharge pipe, installing a ductile iron siphon to serve as the low-level outlet, constructing a low level outlet channel, loam and seed, BVW in site replacement, and wetlands mitigation plantings at a nearby lake. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. All Bids for this project are subject to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30, Section 39M as amended. A formal pre-Bid conference will not be held at the site to conform with COVID-19 Social Distancing. Prospective Bidders may visit the site on their own.
