The Work covered by the Contract Documents comprises construction of a Membrane Softening System at the Harrison Water Treatment Plant. The Work includes the following major items: o Construction of a building addition to the existing water plant. o Installation of equipment, including membrane filtration system and associated chemical feed, clean-in-place, air, and instrumentation equipment, and piping and valves. o Painting and specialty coatings. o Furnishing building plumbing and mechanical systems. o Furnishing electrical power distribution, lighting and control systems. o Installation of discharge piping, from the treatment plant to the Whitewater River The Project will be financed with funds provided by a Water Supply Revolving Loan Account agreement administered by the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency/Division of Environmental and Financial Assistance and the Contract Documents reflect requirements by that agency.
