Site work and paving for a transportation facility in Tampa, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.
"**As of July 6, 2020, the project has been awarded for $5,902,072.50.** FDOT PROJECT NUMBERS FM432984-1, FM432987-1, FM438503-1, 2019.0283.01 Project includes an asphalt mill and overlay of Runway 5-23 and the associated connector taxiways (E1, E2, E3, and E4), replacement of the runway and taxiway edge lighting and signage system, tree clearing along the runway and taxiway, shoulder grading and sodding, new pavement markings, replacement of Medium Approach Light System with Runway Alignment Indicator Lights (MALSR) and Precision Approach Path Indicator (PAPI) systems, and minor repairs and de-silting of the existing box culvert. Rehabilitation of Runway 5-23 (5000' x 100') and the associated connector taxiways (E1, E2, E3, and E4) involves a 1/2 mill of the existing asphalt, leveling course, and 2.5" asphalt overlay using FAA P-401. Existing shoulders will be regraded and sodded. Existing runway and taxiway edge lighting and signage systems will be replaced with new conduit, cans, cable, counterpoise, transformers and LED fixtures. Existing PAPI units and MALSR light towers will be replaced with new equipment as well. Work also includes clearing of trees and vegetation along the runway and taxiway, and de-silting and minor repairs of the box culvert running underneath the runway and taxiway system.
