Decontamination work in the presence of asbestos and silica. Exterior painting work. Replacement of exterior doors and windows. Installation of curtain walls. Repair of roof parapets, metal flashings, partial repair of roof and intra-wall flashings. Addition of glass stelae for works of art and for school signage. Interior patching. Replacement of light cannons and precast concrete flower boxes. Structural work: concrete stairs. Exterior lighting. Electromechanical work: Lighting, intrusion alarm, ventilation, heating, etc. Work area: 1,525 square meters Building: École Louis-Joseph-Papineau located at 2901 rue de Louvain Est, Montreal, QC H1Z 1J7. No claim due to ignorance of the general and local conditions will be recognized by the CSSDM. The tenderer cannot claim any compensation for the costs incurred for his travels. Period / Deadline for completion: The work must be fully performed within a period of fifty-seven (57) weeks from the start date of the work, the said period may not, however, expire beyond the September 22, 2023, date of acceptance without reservation of the projected works. No renewal option. For details concerning the completion period, you can contact the CSSDM representative. No details on the estimated value of the total or partial contract will be provided. Bid bond: All tenders must be accompanied by a tender guarantee representing 10% of the total cost of the tender, including applicable taxes, in favor of the Center de services scolaire. This bid security must be presented in one of the following forms: A certified cheque; An irrevocable letter of guarantee issued by a financial institution valid for a period of 45 days following the date of opening of tenders. [C1] A bid bond issued by a financial institution that is an insurer holding a license issued in accordance with the Insurance Act. [C2] As bid security, only the surety bond and the irrevocable letter of guarantee are accepted when transmitting a bid electronically. No other form of guarantee is accepted with this mode of transmission. If the tender documents provide for another form of tender guarantee and the service provider wishes to rely on it, the tender must be submitted exclusively in paper form. Given the current situation, bidders wishing to submit a bid in paper format are requested to report to the CSSDM administrative center on the opening day. A representative of the Procurement Office will be present for the receipt of tenders from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. The CSSDM will receive before 2 p.m., on the opening date indicated, the tenders for the corresponding call for tenders. Each tender in paper form must be delivered sealed in an envelope identified with the return label included in the call for tenders or by any exact reproduction of its contents, as well as the name and address of the tenderer at the top corner left. Submissions transmitted electronically can only be made through the site. It is important to allow sufficient time for access and submission of bids. The CSSDM cannot be held responsible for delays related to access management in the context of a pandemic. Visitor parking is available for people wishing to submit a paper bid. Bidders may contact the responsible person for any information required. The CSSDM does not undertake to accept the lowest or any of the tenders received. No list of document takers will be provided by the owner. Performance bond and obligation bond for wages, materials and services of each corresponding 50% is required.
