Site work and paving for a transportation facility in Morristown, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.
As of October 5, 2020, a General Contractor has been awarded. The construction is expected to begin July 2021. The Town shall award the Contract or reject all bids within 60 days of bid opening, except that the bid of any bidder who consents thereto where indicated in the bid documents, may be held for consideration for such longer period as may be agreed, but in no event exceeding 210 days without further consent. The Town will evaluate bids and any award will be made to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:11-6.1. After the bids are publicly opened the Proposal Guaranty of the two (2) apparent lowest responsible bidders will be retained until a final award is made. The Town of Morristown reserves the right to reject any and all bid Proposals and to waive any informality in bid Proposals received. NOTICE is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Business Administrator of the Town of Morristown, in the County of Morris, Sate of New Jersey (the "Town" or, as the case may be, the "Sponsor"or "Owner") on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at 10:00 a.m.
