**The project was awarded to Park Construction Company in the amount of $3,461,911.31.** The project consists of spot repair/replacement of existing concrete curb and gutter and sidewalk, installation of new concrete curb and gutter where not currently present, storm drainage improvements, full-depth reclamation, traffic control signage, and appurtenant construction on the following streets: Baltimore Street from 105th Ave t 575 ft north of 105th Avenue Aberdeen Street from 117th Avenue to 125th Avenue Ulysses Street from Paul Parkway to 750 south of 125th Avenue Quail Creek Parkway from Radisson Rod to Palisade Court Radisson Road from 123rd Lane to cul-de-sac Flanders Street from 95th Avenue to Rice Creek Parkway Rice Creek Parkway from Flanders Street to Xylite Street Xylite Street from Rice Creek Parkwy to 85th Avenue 91st Avenue from Xylite Street to Bataan Street Jamestown Street from 93rd Avenue to cul-de-sac 94th Lane from Jamestown Street to Harpers Court Harpers Court from 94th Lane to cul-de-sac SAP 106-124-003 SAP 106-130-007 SAP 106-131-005 SAP 106-141-001 consideration of City Improvement No. 19-07 and consisting of approximately: 18,500 LF - REMOVE CONCRETE CURB AND GUTTER 81,300 SY - FULL DEPTH BITUMINOUS RECLAMATION 9,600 CY - HAUL EXCESS FULL DEPTH RECLAMATION 4,050 LF - CONCRETE CURB AND GUTTER, SPOT REPAIR 17,850 LF - CONCRETE CURB AND GUTTER, CONTINUOUS 24,930 TN - BITUMINOUS MIXTURE 82 EA - CASTING ASSEMBLY 56 LF - DRAINAGE STRUCTURE DESIGN 48-4020 520 LF - 12" RC PIPE CULVERT 8,500 SY - SODDING TYPE LAWN 24,600 LF - 4" SOLID LINE MULTI-COMPONENT (INCLUDING ALL RELATED WORK AND APPURTENANCES.) Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the City of Blaine is implementing Social Distancing protocols for this Project by conducting a Virtual Bid Letting only. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Information to Bidders. Bids must be on the basis of cash payment for the work and materials, and no bid will be considered unless filed via the online electronic bid service electronically in accordance with the Information to Bidders and accompanied by a cash deposit, certified check, or bidder's bond, payable to the City, for not less than 5%, as a guarantee that the bidder will, within TEN (10) days after notification of the award of contract, enter into an agreement with the City and furnish a bond for the full amount of the contract as provided by law. This deposit will be subject to forfeiture as provided for by law. Cash deposits, certified checks, and bidder's bonds of the three (3) lowest bidders may be retained until the contract has been awarded and executed, but not longer than 60 days from the date of opening bids. All other deposits will be refunded promptly. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality therein, and to adjourn the meeting to a later date for the purpose of further consideration of the bids and taking action thereon. No bid may be withdrawn within 60 days from date of opening of bids. The City Council will consider award of contracts at their regular meeting held on June 15, 2020, at 7:30 p.m. It is the City's intent to begin construction by June 29, 2020, and all work to be completed by October 30, 2020. *This project timeline has been extended due to the public health crisis.
