This report presents the results of a subsurface exploration conducted for the referenced project. This exploration was conducted in accordance with the proposal for Geotechnical Services dated August 31, 2018. The purpose of this study was to determine subsurface conditions at the site and to develop geotechnical parameters related to design and construction of the project. Information, conclusions, and recommendations which, in our opinion are significant to the design and construction of this project, are provided below. Additional details, the general subsurface profile, other related items, and general information regarding the various phases of our exploration are included in the main body of the report. The proposed project involves construction of a parking lot southeast of the intersection of East 27th Street and Olive Street in Kansas City, Missouri. The site at present is vacant and was previously occupied by single family homes. These homes have been demolished and the underlying basements were filled in with mixed fill consisting of soil and construction debris. The existing property slopes gently downward to the west toward Olive Street with a maximum of 2 feet of elevation change between the borings. *This project timeline has been extended due to the public health crisis.
