Site work and paving for a civil project in Chino, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Work may include but not be limited to the following: Furnish all labor, materials and equipment to replace an existing 6" steel water main with an 8" PVC pipe, installation of various size valves, water services, fire hydrant assemblies, abandon existing lines and valves, remove and replace cross gutter, overlay asphalt concrete as necessary for trench repair Online Q&A Yes Q&A deadline May 27, 2020 at 3:00 PM The Project or Work is anticipated to begin in August 2020. The Project or Work must be completed within thirty (30) working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. All Bids shall be accompanied by cash, a certified bank draft, or a bond from an accredited surety company payable to the City of Chino for an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid submitted. The bid security will be declared forfeited if the successful bidder refuses or fails to enter into a contract within ten (10) days following receipt of the Notice of Award with the contract documents, in accordance with California Public Contract Code Sections 20170 through 20174. The City reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any irregularity, and award contracts in the best interest of the City..
