As of January 18, 2023, construction has been completed. Construction took place between May, 2020, and November, 2022. Boston City Hall & Plaza Renovations - Request for Qualifications (RFQ) Notice to Trade Contractors Only M.G.L. c. 149A Project The project includes demolition and reconstruction of City Hall Plaza, including a new civic pavilion and renovated North and West Entries. The scope includes but is not limited to: Demolition of existingplaza brick, granite steps and associated site elements. New site work, concrete Hard scapes and landscaping. New construction of Civic pavilion space approximately 4000 Sf and Renovation / New Construction of the North Entry Vestibule.Construction anticipated to begin on or about June 1, 2020, and to be completed on or before April 30, 2022. Masonry, Miscellaneous and Ornamental Iron, Waterproofing Damproofing & Caulking, Roofing & Flashing, Tile, Painting, Fire Protection, Plumbing, HVAC, & Electrical. The SOQ must be received by the deadline on at the PFD Bid Counter, 10th Floor, at above agency address. All responses submitted after this time will not be accepted.
