General Nature of The Project: The project consists of remodeling of the existing communitycenter located at 309 Main Street, Colo, Iowa. The existing building interior space of approximately 1,900 square feet will be partially demolished and remodeled, including removalof existing walls, ceilings, framing, floor finishes, lighting and plumbing fixtures. New wood stud walls, new and patched gypsum board and suspended acoustical tile ceilings, new wood door frames with wood doors are to be installed. Also included are new insulation in exterior walls, new toilet rooms, floor and wall finishes, cabinetry, and lighting. Mechanical and electrical systems will be upgraded and new equipment installed.
