The work includes the following: A. Construction of a tertiary filter building with four 10 ft. x 12 ft. dual media filters. B. Construction of pumping stations for filer influent and filter backwash supply. C. Construction of a chlorine contact basin. D. Construction of a 460,000-gallon equalization basin and associated lift station. E. Construction of fine screen with fiberglass building enclosure. F. Construction of new trickling filter tanks, media, and rotating distributing arm mechanism. This project is being funded by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agencys State Revolving Loan Fund and the City of Hoyt Lakes, Minnesota . The project is subject to the State of Minnesota and Federal minimum wages. The work shall be substantially completed by August 31, 2022 and ready for final payment by November 30, 2022. The Bidder shall have experience as a General Contractor in the successful completion of at least three municipal wastewater treatment plants within the last five (5) years. A Bid Bond satisfactory to the City of Hoyt Lakes, Minnesota, in the amount of not less than 5 percent of the total Bid price submitted must accompany each Bid. he successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Payment Bond each in the amount of the Contract. All questions relative to this project prior to the opening of bids shall be directed to the Engineer/Manager for the project.
