**As of July 07, 2020, project has not been awarded. It is the policy of the England Authority that disadvantaged business enterprises as defined in 49 CFR Part 26 shall have the maximum opportunity to participate in the performance of Capital Projects advertised by the England Authority. All bidders shall make good faith efforts, as defined in Appendix A of 49 CFR Part 26, Regulations of the Office of the Secretary of Transportation, to subcontract 5.70 percent (%) of the dollar value of the prime contract to small business concerns owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals (DBEs). Each bid must be accompanied by bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5 percent of bidders maximum bid price and in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or a bid bond. The successful bidder will be required to obtain a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each in the amount of 100% of the contract amount. The owner's electronic address is kwells@englandairpark.org.
