Renovation of a mixed-use development in Renton, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and library.
The Work includes both interior and exterior repainting at Benson Hill Elementary School. Interior repainting includes existing gypsum wallboard and CMU wall surfaces at all classrooms, select offices, Gym, stage, Library and other select spaces as indicated on the plans, including respective hollow metal door frames. Exterior repainting of the Playshed includes, steel columns and support structures, glue-laminated beams, wood joists, plywood sheathing and soffits, wood wall panels, wood and metal trim, and all other existing materials with painted finishes. Pressure washing of the Playshed s metal roofing is included in the scope of Work. Accompany each Bid with a certified check, cashier s check, or surety company bid bond in an amount not less than 5 percent of the Base Bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities and irregularities in the bidding, and to accept bids which are considered to be in the best interests of the Owner. Withdraw of Bid: Bidders may not withdraw bids after time set for the Bid Opening, unless Award of Contract is delayed for a period of exceeding 45 days.
