Site work and renovation of a municipal facility in Whiteville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

Part 1. A - Site Work - Perform all grading and surface improvements to the traffic apron adjacent to the refuge transfer building to include reshaping the existing travel surface and placement of a minimum of 6-inch compacted CABC stone over the area delineated. Part 1. B - Structural Improvements - Refuge Transfer Building - Perform all structural improvements additions to the existing refuge transfer building including but not limited to select demolition; cast-in-place concrete; structural steel framing; cold-formed metal framing; wall and roof sheeting; resinous flooring placement and application of high performance surface coating systems. Part 1.C - Electrical Construction - Perform all demolition and install all conduct; wire and cable; outlet and junction boxes; wiring and supporting devices; plate covers; cabinet and enclosures; identification labels; grounding; circuit breakers and panel boards; disconnect switches; lighting fixtures complete with lamps, ballast and accessories. The Owner has developed a goal of ten percent (10%) for participation of minority- owned and women-owned business enterprises in construction contracts awarded pursuant to NCGS 143-128. Bidders must comply with the Owner's requirements for W/MBE documentation. The County reserves the right to reject any and all BIDS. BIDDERS shall be properly licensed under Chapter 87, General Statutes of North Carolina. Small, minority and women's businesses and labor surplus area firms are encouraged to submit BIDS.
