Renovation of a water / sewer project in Edgewater, Maryland. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Funds are requested for the design, right of way acquisition and construction of a water transmission main that will transfer water in an easterly-westerly direction in the northern part of Anne Arundel County. Generally, the transmission network will provide improved distribution system conveyance between the Glen Burnie High and Glen Burnie Low Service Areas, while providing a source of supply for pumpage to higher pressure zones in the western part of the County. This project is included in the county’s FY 2025-2029 Capital Improvement Program. As of August 11, 2025, further details regarding construction and completion timelines have not been identified. Information regarding design firm and general contractor selection timeline has not been disclosed. Plans and engineering is scheduled for fiscal year 2026. Funding have not been fully allocated. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
