The work generally consists of renovation and alteration of various buildings and areas on the school campus but not strictly limited to selective demolition, site work, concrete and masonry work, cold-formed metal framing, wood treatment and carpentry, waterproofing, sealants, doors and frames, windows and security screens, finish hardware, gypsum wall board, ceramic tiles, detectable warnings, decorative fiberglass reinforced wall panels, painting, detectable warnings, toilet partitions, identifying devices, toilet accessories, fixed seating, hazardous materials abatement and monitoring, plumbing, electrical and assistive listening device systems, and all related work. The estimated construction cost of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Contract Duration: 479 Calendar Days Contractor License Requirement: B Vendors having questions regarding the project must submit them in writing to the Project Coordinator. Questions must be received no later than 14 calendar days prior to the bid closing date. Addenda and/or bid clarifications (if required) will be issued no later than 7 calendar days prior to the bid closing date. In accordance with the SOSA for HePS, the Awarded Vendor shall pay a Transaction Fee of 0.725% (.00725), capped at $5,000, to SicommNet on the total dollar amount of goods or services purchased through the Hawaii Electronic Procurement System (HePS). Vendors are advised that they may be liable for Hawaii state taxes including Hawaii General E xcise Tax ( 4%) and the applicable Use tax (.5%). Note that for the City and County of Honolulu (the island of Oahu), there is an additional .5% County Surcharge Tax (CST).
