Renovation of an educational facility in Quincy, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
As of June 26, 2020 the project is not yet awarded. A timeline for award is not yet determined. Quincy Community Schools will receive sealed proposals from General Contractors. The work in general involves installation of a prefabricated outdoor cooler and freezer. Electronic documents are available in 'PDF' format from the office of the Architect. Bid security in the amount of 5% of the base bid must accompany each proposal. Successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for Labor & Material Bonds and Performance Bonds. The cost of said bonds shall be included in the proposal. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, either in whole or in part, to award a contract to other than the low bidder, to waive any irregularities and/or informalities, and, in general, to make awards in any manner deemed to be in the best interest of Quincy Community Schools. The bid shall be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship that exists between the Owner or any employee of the Bidder and any member of the School Board or the Superintendent. The bid shall also be accompanied by a sworn and notarized Iran Economic Sanctions Act Form, Michigan Public Act No. 517 of 2012.
