Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Ogden, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
As of July 16, 2020, the project has been awarded. This project consists of two separate construction alternates. Alternate 1 consists of construction of approximately 1288 linear feet of 24 inch diameter RCP tile, 92 linear feet of 18 inch diameter RCP tile, connections to existing cross drainage lines, pavement removal and replacement, and all other miscellaneous items related thereto. Alternate 1 will be split into three phases to coordinate construction timelines with the current school addition project. Phase 1 will start as soon as contract execution and be completed before final grading and sod placement is completed for the school addition. Phase 2 can start as soon as Phase 1 has been completed. Phase 3 can not be started until after August 1. Alternate 2 consists of the same construction quantities with the overall project start date after August 1. Bidders must bid on both Alternates. The School Board will select the Alternate which is in the best interest of the School District.
