No bids will be opened prior to the due date and time under penalty of law. The Owner intends to award Contracts on or about Monday, June 8th , 2020. Submit Bids electronically as described above. Before submitting your Bid, check to be sure that: 1. The Proposal Form is signed. 2. The Base Bid amount is filled in. 3. All applicable Alternate amounts are filled in. 4. The Bid Security is included. 5. All Addenda are acknowledged. 6. Signature Authorization is included. 7. Cost of Performance and Payment Bond is indicated on the Proposal Form. 8. The sworn and notarized Familial Statement of Disclosure are included. 9. The Iran Economic Sanctions Act Certification are included. All Pre-Bid RFIs and Substitution Requests must be submitted by no later than May 28th, 2020 at 2:00 PM local time. RFIs and Substitution Requests submitted after this date will not be answered. Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of Base Bid(s) shall accompany each Proposal. All Contractors bidding on Work in excess of $50,000.00 must be bondable and must include in their Proposal the cost for furnishing a Labor and Material Payment Bond and a Performance Bond listing Comstock Public Schools as Obligee. (Refer to Specification Section 00 61 00.) All Proposals shall be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship (or lack of a relationship) that exists between the Owner or any employee of the Bidder and any member of the Board of Education of Comstock Public Schools or the Superintendent of the School District. The District shall not award to a Bidder that does not furnish a sworn and notarized Disclosure Statement. (Refer to Section 00 43 18 - Familial Statement of Disclosure.) All Proposals shall be accompanied by an Iran Economic Sanctions Act Certification. The District shall not award to a Bidder that does not furnish this Certification. (Refer to Section 00 43 20 - Iran Economic Sanctions Act Certification.
