Proposals will be acted upon by the City Council at a meeting to be held in the Mason City Room, Mason City Public Library, 225 2nd Street SE, Mason City, Iowa, beginning at 7:00 p.m., on the 5th day of April 2022. At said time and place, a public hearing will also be held on the 5th day of April 2022 for proposed plans, specifications, and proposed form of the contract for said IATR Grade Crossing Reconstruction - 19th Street SW, and at said hearing, any interested person may appear and file objections thereto or to the cost of said improvements.The extent of the work involved is to mill the existing pavement, reconstruct Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) approach sectionsto the railroad crossings, place a new two course HMA pavement system throughout the project limits, re-adjust utility fixtures, and apply pavement markings and all other incidentals on 19th Street SW in theCity of Mason City Each bid must be made out on a Proposal Form, furnished by the City and obtained at the office of the City Clerk.
