The project contemplated consists of demolition of a portion of existing 8-inch gravity sewer system and construction of an upsized 12-inch gravity sewer system. Demolition consists of the following: Demolition and removal or abandonment of approximately 915 linear feet of existing 8-inch sewer main. Demolition and removal of approximately 210 linear feet of existing 8-inch sewer main within an existing 30-inch steel casing pipe located beneath Inter state 184. Demolition and removal of three (3) existing manholes. Demolition and removal of the existing flow monitoring manhole with Palmer Bowlus Flume. Demolition and removal of the existing flow diversion manhole. Construction consists of the following: Construction of approximately 800 linear feet of 12-inch gravity sewer main via direct bury trench. Construction of approximately 210 linear feet of 12-inch gravity sewer main within the existing 30-inch steel casing pipe located beneath Interstate 184, and con struction of approximately 70 linear feet of 12-inch gravity sewer main within an existing 24-inch casing pipe located beneath the Brose Irrigation Lateral. Construction of eight (8) precast concrete manholes. Connection to and modification of one (1) existing manhole con crete trough to accommodate flows for the new 12-inch gravity sewer main. Construction of a new flow monitoring manhole with 12-inch Palm er-Bowlus Flume. Relocation of the existing ISCO level sensor and reconnection of the level transmitter field cable and sampler tube to the existing ISCO equipment. Construction of a new concrete diversion manhole. Surface restoration of all disturbed surfaces. Incidentals necessary to complete the work. The Contractor will be responsible for: Obtaining all required permits Developing and implementing traffic control Providing and maintaining all erosion and sediment control Developing and implementing temporary flow bypass during construction. Coordinating construction phasing and system start up with Property Owner and WBSD. The Work will be completed in all respects with Substantial Completion 75 calendar days from the date when Contract Times commence to run and Final Completion 90 calendar days from the date when the Contract Times commence to run, but in no case later than October 30, 2020.
