Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Kingman, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The Project is generally described as a mill and overlay of US-54 Highway (Avenue D) from Chariton Street to East of City Limits which consists of the following major items: 28,338 Sq. Yds. Milling, 3,082 Tons Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) Commercial Grade, 162 Ft. Curb & Gutter, 83 Ft. Curb Wall, 53 Sq. Yds. Sidewalk, 76 Sq. Yds. Sidewalk Ramp, 16 Sq. Ft. Concrete Surface Repair, Pavement Patching, Sealing Asphalt Cracks, Pavement Marking, Traffic Control, and Seeding. A pre-bid conference will not be held. Bid Security will be required in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bidder qualifications may be required in accordance with Instructions to Bidders. Contract time will be set in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and Agreement. OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive irregularities in bidding. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with President's Executive Order No. 11246 as amended. Requirements for bidders and contractors under this order are explained in the Bidding Documents.
