Site work and new construction of a detention facility in Mason, Michigan. Completed plans call for the construction of a detention facility; and for site work for a detention facility.
Invitation is hereby made to have qualified bidders submit bid proposals for the following work categories: category description 03-02: precast concrete 05-01: structural & misc steel 14-01: elevators Bid security will be required for all proposals. All bid proposals over $50,000 shall be accompanied by a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and an approved security company in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the lump sum preconstruction amount. For bids less than $50,000 a certified check in the amount of 5% of the bid will be allowed as bid security. The bidder, if awarded the Contract, may be required by the Owner or the Construction Manager to provide, a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment bond, covering up to the full amount of the Contract sum as security for the faithful performance of all work under the Contract and payment of all charges in connection therewith. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to accept other than a low bid, and to waive informalities, irregularities and/or errors in proposals, which they feel is in their best interest.
