Job Amazon Park Running Trail Renovation 900118 1 LS Clearing & Grubbing; 1,319 CY General Excavation; 1,177 TN 3/4 " Crushed Rock; 1,948 TN 1" Open Quarry Rock; 1 LS Illumination, Complete; 1 LS Bollard Lighting; 62,710 SF Bark Mulch All Work must be completed by October 16, 2020. The scope of work includes: - Renovation and re-construction of existing wood mulch running trail. - Removal of existing light poles and footings. - Demolition and removal of existing Shelter and trail markers. - Replacement of existing electrical service. - New continuous perimeter pedestrian path lighting of the trail. - New bollard lighting along Northeast section of trail between existing Ash Grove and Amazon Channel. - New Shelter concrete pad and column base. - New Trail marker post footings. - New electrical cabinet. - Minor grading and seed preparation (seeding by others). This project includes additive alternate bid items that may or may not be awarded. The Agency reserves the right to issue Addenda making changes or corrections to the Plans, Specifications or quantities. The Agency will provide Addenda only by publishing them on the Agency's web site and on the Oregon Procurement Information Network (ORPIN) website. (See 00110.05(e).) No additional notification of addendum issuance will be provided. Submit paper bids to Jenifer Willer, AIC City Engineer as follows: Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bidder's bond payable to the City of Eugene in an amount equal to ten percent of the amount bid. Filing of a qualification questionnaire before bidding will not be required. Contingent or conditional bids will not be considered for acceptance. This public works improvement project is subject to payment of prevailing rate of wages, per BOLI ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870. No bid will be received or considered unless the bid contains a statement by the bidder that provisions of ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870 pertaining to prevailing wage rates shall be complied with. Bidders are required to submit a First-Tier Subcontractor Disclosure form, substantially as described in ORS 279C.370, within two working hours of the bid closing date and time. For this project the first-tier subcontractor disclosure statement must be submitted regardless of the bid amount. No bid will be accepted by the City unless it contains a statement by the bidder as a part of the bid that the bidder in carrying out the contract will comply with all applicable laws. The City may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all bids or to waive any specification or requirement upon a finding of the City that it is in the public interest to do so.
