The Kaskaskia Community College is a 16-building facility established in 1968. The scope of work provides for replacement of the galvanized domestic water distribution system with copper piping throughout the campus. A combined MBE/WBE goal of 15 percent is applicable to the A/E team. A VBE goal of 2 percent is applicable to the A/E team. The public bid opening for PLUMBING and ASBESTOS ABATEMENT will be conducted on Friday, February 4, 2022 at 10:00am prevailing time via WebEx. The public bid opening for GENERAL will be conducted on Friday, February 18, 2022 at 10:00am prevailing time via WebEx. Bids can be sent via the US Post Office, UPS, or FEDEX, and should be sent without a signature required at delivery. Mailed bids will be considered on-time if the package is in CDBs mail received on, or before, the THURSDAY morning following the bid receipt deadline. No confirmation of delivery will be provided to the contractor by CDB. The contractor shall complete all work through Substantial Completion in accord with the contract within 180 consecutive calendar days from the date of the Authorization to Proceed and shall complete all remaining work in accordance with the contract (Final Acceptance) within 45 consecutive calendar days from the date of Substantial Completion.
