As of June 24, 2025, an engineer has been selected, and this project is in the design phase. Construction is projected to commence in 2026, with substantial completion anticipated by 2029. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The Town of Barnstable Procurement Office on behalf of the Department of Public Works (DPW) hereby requests proposals from qualified professional engineering firms to evaluate, design and assist in the bidding of the Phinney's Lane Neighborhood Sewer Expansion project. Last day to submit questions is 8/5/24, no later than Noon. Questions shall be submitted in writing through the Vendor Discussion section of the online portal. The Town of Barnstable reserves the right to reject any or all proposals when it deems it to be in the best interest of the Town.
