General Construction Contract (GC): A general description of the primary work elements for the General Construction Contract is listed below for reference. Contractor is responsible for reviewing all the drawings and specifications to obtain a complete understanding of all work scope. Mobilization and establishment of site perimeter fencing and maintenance and protection of traffic items. General site demolition and removals. Including remove and salvaging of existing granite blocks. Mark existing utilities Install Temporary Soil Erosion and Control Measures. Earthwork Install armor stone along length of revetment Reset granite blocks Construction/installation of upland improvements (pedestrian walks, landscaping, site furniture) Planting area Demobilization Closeout Add Alt No. 1 Boat launch Repair Remove and dispose of existing Floating Dock Install new Floating Dock Provide Hardware Remove damaged wood decking Add Alt. No 2 Expanded Planting Clear and Grub additional plants Planting soil Mulch Add Alt. No.3 Refurbished Benches The following goals for MWBE participation on Contract (GC - D005696) have been established at: Minority Owned Business Enterprise (MBE) 17% Women Owned Business Enterprise (WBE) 13% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOB) 4% RFI's received after this date will not be processed.
