Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Corpus Christi, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The project scope includes improvements such as planning (milling) and overlay for asphaltic pavement; pavement reconstruction; multi-use side path, waterlines and appurtenances; gravity wastewater lines and manholes; storm water pipe culverts, inlets and ditch regrading; storm water pollution prevention controls; pavement markings and signage; and temporary traffic controls during construction as outlined in the plans and specs. A Bid Bond must guarantee, without qualification or condition, that the Owner will be paid a sum equal to 5 percent (5%) of the greatest amount bid if, within 10 calendar days of Notice of Award of the Contract, the Bidder/Principal: i. fails to enter into a contract for the Project with the Owner; or ii. fails to provide the required Performance and Payment Bonds.
