The Contractor shall begin performance 10 calendar days and complete it within 30 calendar days after receiving notice to proceed. The Santa Catalina Ranger District Office is located at the base of the Santa Catalina Mountains on the Santa Catalina Ranger District of the Coronado National Forest in Tucson, Arizona (Township 13 South, Range 15 East, and Section 9). The District Office is directly adjacent to the Sabino Canyon Visitor Center which has well over one million visitors each year. The District Office currently has a barbwire fence located around the perimeter of both the District Office and Visitor Center. This existing fence is currently the only means/barrier to keep the public from accessing prohibited areas available only to District personnel. Given the current issue with ease to access to the District Office and the need to provide a secure workplace for District personnel at the site, it is proposed that the existing barbwire fence be replaced with a square steel tubing security fence *This project timeline has been extended due to the public health crisis.
