Site work for a mixed-use development in San Diego, California. Design plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and water / sewer project.
Rehabilitates and upgrades a section of North County Transit District-owned track located on sensitive coastal bluffs in Del Mar, Calif., to protect against erosion that has disrupted rail service in the corridor multiple times in recent years. The work includes installing new subsurface drainage, concrete ditches, storm drains, and new support piles for seismic stability and slope stabilization. The project provides safety and reliability benefits to all railroads operating over the corridor, including Amtrak's PacificSurfliner service, North County Transit District's Coaster service and freight carriers. As of June 2022, phase 5 of the bluff stabilization construction is to begin in late 2023 and be completed in 2026. Information regarding general contractor selection has not been disclosed.
