Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in University Place, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The work to be performed under this contract includes furnishing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools and guarantees thereof to: construct curbs, gutters, planter strips, sidewalks, walls, bike lanes, storm drainage improvements, paving, landscaping, irrigation, traffic signal modifications and streetlights on 67th Avenue West from Bridgeport Way West to Cirque Drive West. The Bidder shall submit with their Bid a completed Contractor Certification Wage Law Compliance form, provided by the Contracting Agency. Failure to return this certification as part of the Bid Proposal package will make this Bid Nonresponsive and ineligible for Award. A Contractor Certification of Wage Law Compliance form is included in the Proposal Forms. All Statements of Intent to Pay Prevailing Wages, Affidavits of Wages Paid and Certified Payrolls, including a signed Statement of Compliance for Federal-aid projects, shall be submitted to the Engineer and to the State L&I online Prevailing Wage Intent & Affidavit (PWIA) system. If Davis Bacon wage rates apply to this Contract, all requirements must be met and recorded properly on certified payroll. The City of University Place expressly reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive minor irregularities or informalities and to further make award of the Project to the lowest responsive responsible bidder as it best serves the interest of the City. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit by certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the Specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of University Place
