Site work and paving for a road / highway in Decorah, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Reconstruction of 36-FT wide P.C. Concrete Street Paving (exclusive of existing newly constructed 2.5-ft. Curb & Gutter on one side), together with related Incidental Work. No pre-bid conference for the Project is anticipated. Bids will be received for a single Prime Contract. Bids shall be made on all divisions of the Work. One contract will be awarded for the combination of Divisions deemed to be in the best interest of the Project A certified or cashier's check payable to the Owner, drawn on a solvent Iowa bank or a bank chartered under the laws of the United States, or a certified share draft drawn on a credit union in Iowa or chartered under the laws of the United States, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the Bid, or a Bid Bond executed by a corporation authorized to contract as a Surety in the State of Iowa, in the penal sum of five percent (5%) of the Bid. The City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, irregularities or technicalities in any bid and to accept the bid, which it deems to be in the best interest of the City.
