Rogue Valley Transportation District (RVTD) is seeking qualification proposals from qualified architecture and/or engineering firms for the preparation of plans and specifications suitable for receiving bids for the expansion of RVTD Main Campus located at 3200 Crater Lake Avenue in Medford, Oregon. Once completed, a large dispatch area will provide needed space for drivers to begin and end their shifts housing lockers, a break room, and a dedicated training room for ongoing certification and safety training. The current campus does not adequately house and serve the existing personnel and fleet of 45 buses. The new building will allow expansion to an anticipated 60-bus fleet by 2040. RVTD serves greater Jackson County with bus routes in the cities of Medford, Ashland, White City, Phoenix, Talent, Jacksonville and Central Point. As of October 31, 2023, The Rogue Valley Transportation District has broken ground on a new building at its main campus in Medford. Construction contract was awarded.
