Site work and paving for a road / highway in Senoia, Georgia. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The City of Senoia is requesting civil engineering and material testing qualifications for the Ivy Creek Trail project. The work consists of approving contractor materials submittals, verifying construction quantities and workmanship, attending construction meetings, and preparing various submittals the Georgia DOT Plan Development Process (PDP). Material testing services for concrete, asphalt, and/or soil compaction are also required. Engineering firms must be prequalified with GDOT, and material testing personnel must be certified by GDOT. The project would provide a 10-foot wide multi-user trail on new location west of Keg Creek in Senoia. The project begins at Seavy Street, extends north approximately 1 mile on new location, and ends at Autumn Creek Drive. Interested firms should submit a request via e-mail to receive the full text of the RFQ. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
