Bid items include: Mobilization, Lump Sum; Erosion/Water Pollution Control, Lump Sum; Type 1 Apex ELJ, 7 Each; Type 2 Apex ELJ, 1 Each; Type 1 Deflector ELJ, 9 Each; Type 1 Floodplain Roughness ELJ, 7 Each; Timber Complex Unit ELJ, 4 Each; Type 1 Setback Revetment, 6 Each; Type 2 Setback Revetment ELJ, 12 Each; Excavation of Temporary Relief Channel, 10,000 CY; Racking Logs, 5,114 Each; Slash, 3,475 CY; 36 Dia. Rock Collar, 216 Each; 28 Dia. Rock Collar, 72 Each; Emergent Scrub Shrub Wetland Revegetation, 0.43 Ac.; Riparian Tree and Shrub Revegetation, 2.25 Ac.; and other related work. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid proposal made payable to Grays Harbor County Treasurer. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to Grays Harbor County. Grays Harbor County hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation, and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex or national origin in consideration for an award.
