New construction of a mixed-use development in North York, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 1,800-unit multi-residential development.
The Oriole Yards Study has identified a plan for relocating existing City uses from the site to free the lands for development. Scope of work may include construction of an estimated 1,800 residential units in a mix of towns and apartments. There will be a total of 603 affordable units. TIMELINE: Project remains on hold in the pre-development stage. CreateTO is working with the Housing Now initiative to develop this site; scope of work has yet to be finalized. Project my be revisited in 2027 for its feasibility. There are currently no construction timelines. Further update early 2027. *Construction cost is an estimate only.
