General Requirements : Bid Deposit Required, Insurance Required, Contractors License Required, Installation Required, License Required , Employee Background Checks Required, Certified Payroll, Prevailing Wage Required. The Contractor shall establish emergency and fire exits from the work area. First aid kit, two (2) full sets of protective clothing and respirators shall be provided for use by qualified emergency personnel in the clean room of the decontamination facility. 2. Contractor shall provide fire watch and logbook throughout the entire term of the project, to protect against fire and unauthorized entry into and around the work area. Any intrusion or incident shall be documented in the logbook. Fire watch personnel shall be present during off-hours shift such as night shift, weekends and holidays when abatement work is not in progress. Fire watch shall be a certified asbestos handler by NYSDOL.
