Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Madison, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
As of August 4 , 2020 the project was awarded to M-K Bridge Construction and they started work last week. Construction Plan for: S.A.P. 37-599-113 Construct Bridge #37556, Bridge Replacement, Approach Grading, and Aggregate Surfacing. S.A.P. 37-599-114 Construct Bridge #37559, Bridge Replacement, Approach Grading, and Aggregate Surfacing. The major items of work are removing existing bridge L9600 and L9402, construct bridge 37556 and 37559, 3,741 Cubic Yards Common Embankment (CV), 1,026 Ton Aggregate Surfacing Class 5, 680 Cubic Yards Structural Backfill (CV) (P), and 1,230 Ton Random Riprap Class III and various other related items of construction. S.A.P. 037-599-113 - Existing Bridge L9600. 111th Avenue 5 Miles South and 1 Mile West of Marietta Between TH 212 and 210th St. S.A.P. 037-599-014 - Existing Bridge L9402. 265th Avenue 7 Miles South and 3 Miles West of Dawson Between 110th St. and South County Line. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bidders bond made payable to Lac qui Parle County in a sum not less than 5% of the bid. The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to wave any informalities therein and to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to the County.
