**As of July 2, 2020, this project has been awarded to Eastex Utility Construction for a total amount of $51,263.10 For County of Chambers, Texas, Sanitary Sewer Force Main Along State Highway 61, Pipe Boring Project, TDA CDBG Project No. 7218061 located in Anahuac, Texas, generally described as the installation of approximately 1,030 linear feet of 4" sanitary sewer force main and 40 linear feet of 6" sanitary sewer force main by directional drilling or boring. A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid [for those contracts that exceed $100,000]. A certified check or bank draft payable to the County of Chambers, Texas or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. Attention is called to the fact that not less than, the federally determined prevailing (Davis-Bacon and Related Acts) wage rate, as issued by the Texas Department of Agriculture - Community Development Block Grant and contained in the contract documents, must be paid on this project.
