Sealed Bids for the construction of Contract No. 2020 - Sewer Cleaning and Video Inspection consisting of, but not limited to, approximately 200 L.F. of 4" Gravity sewer, 3,400 L.F. of 6" Gravity sewer, approximately 94,400 L.F. of 8" Gravity sewer, approximately 14,900 L.F. of 10" Gravity Sewer, approximately 4,600 L.F. of 12" Gravity Sewer, approximately 2,600 L.F. of 15" Gravity Sewer, approximately 800 L.F. of 18" Gravity Sewer, approximately 900 L.F. of 21" Gravity Sewer, approximately 700 L.F. of 24" Gravity Sewer and approximately 400 L.F. of 27" Gravity Sewer; together with all related work as specified and shown on the Drawings. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified check in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid to insure the execution of the contract for which the bid is made. In case the bid is not accepted, the check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder, but if the bid is accepted and the bidder shall refuse or neglect to enter into a contract with the Paducah McCracken Joint Sewer Agency within ten (10) days after the time he has been notified of the acceptance of his bid, the said check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Paducah McCracken Joint Sewer Agency as liquidated damages for the failure to do so. The General Contractor is required to perform a minimum of 50% of the project work. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of ninety (90) days after closing time scheduled for the receipt of bids. The Paducah McCracken Joint Sewer Agency reserves the right to waive informalities and to reject any and all bids.
