Site work for a water / sewer project in Plainfield, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Sealed Bids for 2020 Village Green and Illinois Route 59 Sanitary Improvements The proposed construction consists of installation of approximately 775 lineal feet of 24-inch CIPP sanitary lining, 500 lineal feet of 10-inch CIPP sanitary lining, and 790 lineal feet of 6-inch CIPP sanitary service lining for approximately 18 sanitary services. Construction includes installation of sanitary cleanouts, interior manhole sealing, and other miscellaneous items of work. Bids will not be accepted from any prospective bidder who has not purchased contract documents. Please contact the Village of Plainfield (815) 436-3577 (Arlan Schattke or Scott Threewitt) for additional information. The successful bidder or bidders will be required to furnish a satisfactory payment bond and performance bond each in the amount of 100% of the contract. A certified check, bank draft, satisfactory bid bond, or cash, payable to the order of the Village of Plainfield in amount not less than ten (10) percent of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The Village of Plainfield reserves the right to reject the bid of any nonresponsive, non-responsible bidder, and waive any informality to the benefit of the Village of Plainfield. Any bidder may withdraw his bid prior to the opening of the bids. No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of the bids without the consent of the Village of Plainfield for a period of forty-five (45) days after the scheduled time of bid opening.
