For RFQ D/B - Trenchless Pipelines and Lake Tap for Water Supply Project The City of Hot Springs, Arkansas is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified design-build firms to provide engineering design and construction services for various trenchless pipelines, including a lake tap, for the Lake Ouachita Water Supply Project. The project generally includes various trenchless pipelines needed to transmit raw water from Lake Ouachita to the City of Hot Springs. Three trenchless pipeline projects have been identified: Raw water intake pipeline through Blakely Mountain to a lake tap in Lake Ouachita, approximately 2500 linear feet long, minimum 42-inch diameter, and included appurtenances; 42-inch trenchless pipeline under the Ouachita River (Lake Hamilton), approximately 1,000 linear feet long; and 42-inch trenchless pipeline under Mazarn Creek (Lake Hamilton), approximately 1,500 linear feet long. The budget for these projects is $18MM to $20MM, cumulatively. All responses will be evaluated in terms of specialized experience and technical competence; record of past performance; capacity and capability of the firm/individual to perform work; and proximity to and familiarity with the project area. The City of Hot Springs reserves the right to reject any or all submittals and to waive any informalities.
