Site work for a water / sewer project in Lawrence Township, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The bid shall provide for the drainage, inlet and pipe repairs at various locations in the Township. The work under this contract includes necessary repairs to drainage inlets to prevent water infiltration, pipe seam repairs and pipe sinkhole repairs in residential developments on Township streets. Work also includes repair of corrugated metal pipe in drainage easement lawn area. Work includes installation of 575 LF of 6" PVC sump pump collector system and individual connections on Altamawr Avenue, Glenn Avenue and Roxboro Road, grading and installation of a dense graded aggregate shoulder at two (2) intersections and other work as set forth in the specifications. It is anticipated that a construction contract will be awarded on July 21, 2020, subject to the availability of funds in the 2020 Adopted Budget and 2020 Capital Plan. Construction shall commence on or about August 3, 2020. The completion of the project shall be forty-five (45) working days from the date of receipt of the Notice to Proceed. All work must be completed by October 30, 2020. Signed bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, addressed to the Engineering Department with the name of the project printed on the face of the envelope. Bids must be made on the proposal forms included with the bid specifications. Bidders must comply with the regulations of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 -1 et seq.
