Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The work includes a 36-foot-wide roadway, curbing, sidewalks, signage, lighting and stormwater drainage system and outfall as well as a connector trail between the end of Pine Street and the existing Bike, Hike and Roll Throughway including an ornamental entry arch, marine bollards, fencing, landscaping, and lighting. Environmental remediation will be addressed through capping of the Site with the above referenced improvements under the supervision of a Licensed Site Remediation Professional. Successful bidder must comply with all Federal and State requirements contained in the project specifications. Please be advised that State funds through the Office of Natural Resource Restoration are being utilized in this project. By virtue of Executive Order #34 (1976) vendors currently suspended, debarred or disqualified are excluded from participation on this project. All questions must be in writing via email or fax to the Engineer, Envar Services, Inc. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier check or surety bond of a corporation acceptable to the City and in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid presented, but in no case in excess of $20,000.00. Each bidder must also submit with his bid a certificate from a responsible surety company stating that the said surety company will provide in the event that he should be the successful bidder, surety bond(s) in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contracted price and subject to such conditions as contained in the specifications. City Council reserves the right to reject all bids or any part thereof or to award to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder, in accordance with applicable law.
